34B, BLACKWALL REACH PARADE, BICTON

Private residence incorporating a complex design concept, prototype construction techniques and situated on a prominent site overlooking the Swan River. The freeform non-concentric splines which form the exterior reference the natural stratification of sedimentary limestone onsite. These strata layers overlap, intersect and blend together to accommodate the functional aspects including passive solar shading, glazing, balconies and overall amenity for the occupants. Active sustainable design aspects include water tanks and solar panels.
